20 July 2023 року відбулося сьоме засідання Підкомісії з питань торговельно-економічного співробітництва Міжурядової українсько-китайської комісії з питань торговельно-економічного співробітництва. The co-chairs of this meeting were the Deputy Minister of Commerce of China, Deputy Representative for International Trade Negotiations Lin Ji and Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine and Trade Representative Taras Kachka. Lin Ji expressed China's readiness to cooperate with Ukraine for the active development of mutually beneficial bilateral economic and trade cooperation and to promote the development of strategic partnership between the two countries. China has declared its readiness to expand the import of high-quality products from Ukraine, стимулювати аналіз здійсненності лібералізації торгівлі, strengthen cooperation with Ukraine within the framework of the WTO, to establish cooperation between the bodies of the two countries on stimulating investment activity, and also to constantly expand prospects for trade and investment cooperation. In turn, China expects from Ukraine a reliable guarantee of the safety of personnel and property of Chinese-financed enterprises, as well as protecting the legal rights and interests of Chinese enterprises.
Taras Kachka noted, that Ukraine attaches great importance to the development of economic and trade relations with China and is an important partner of China in the joint construction of the Belt and Road Initiative, one way ". The deputy minister also expressed hope for an increase in the export of agricultural products to China. The Ukrainian side promised to strengthen measures to protect Chinese-financed enterprises in the country, and also expressed readiness to cooperate to promote the healthy and sustainable development of bilateral economic and trade relations between the two countries.
